Our second Ghost Walk started at the Pilot House at the University of Portland. Points of interest: 1) Cathedral Park where residents say you can hear the screaming of a young girl who was kidnapped and killed in the park in the summer of 1949:

2) the St. John's Theater where an unidentified presence has been encountered by employees; and 3) the Willamette River where a phantom rowboat has been sighted and when the coastguard goes to retrieve the boat, it disappears right in front of their eyes.

It's barely visible under the center section of the bridge.
Other points of interest are Clark's Point (text) on the college campus; and, under the St. John's bridge in Cathedral Park is a plaque identifying the Indian Village site where Capt. Clark and his party camped in April, 1806.
