FALLS CREEK FALLS; 10KM, Rated 4; 5KM or 7KM, Rated 3

This triple-tiered, 250-foot waterfall has been featured in several guidebooks and easily rivals the beauty of Oregon’s Multnomah Falls.  It's a little known gem in the Gifford-Pinchot wilderness.  The top tier is not visible from the Lower Falls.

The forest path leading to the falls crosses Falls Creek and is a genuine deep woods experience. The 5K and 7K are out-and-backs on the Lower Falls Creek Trail. The 10K route uses both the Upper and Lower Falls Creek Trails, which are joined by a steep, rugged connector trail. The 10K distance also includes the canyon rim above the falls, a small falls in a sylvan setting, and provides additional water views from above. All options closely follow a large part of Falls Creek, a clear, bubbling forest stream.

The Falls Creek Falls trail is remote and has limited facilities. Restrooms and water are available only at the trailhead: carrying additional water is strongly advised.  Located north of Carson in the southern end of the Gifford Pinchot National Forest, Falls Creek Falls is about 25 driving miles from North Bonneville.
