Directions to Legacy Salmon Creek Hospital:

    NORTHBOUND:  From I-5, take NE 134th Street, Exit 7. Turn right (east) on NE 134th St. After crossing over I-205, turn left (north) on NE 23rd Avenue (traffic light). Continue from ♣ below.
    From I-205, take NE 134th Street, Exit 36. At end of ramp (traffic light), go straight (north) onto NE 23rd Avenue. Continue from ♣ below.
    SOUTHBOUND:  From I-5, take I-205 (Exit 7). Stay in right-hand lane and very shortly take NE 134th Street, Exit 36. Turn left (east) onto NE 134th St. After crossing over I-205, turn left (north) on NE 23rd Avenue (traffic light). Continue from ♣ below.
    ♣ Proceed on NE 23rd Avenue to the Emergency entrance (second hospital driveway). Turn left, then right into parking garage. Park on 4th level (P4), walk across the skybridge to hospital (not the medical offices). You are entering the hospital’s second floor. Right down escalator to first floor. Veer left to Information Desk and ask for the walk registration box.

    This campus setting contrasts nicely with a surrounding rural atmosphere. Experience public art, stately brick architecture, and ponds, meadows and mature forests. Cross a wooden bridge over Mill Creek, pass a historic pioneer cabin site, walk beside hay fields, through wetlands and a riparian restoration project. Country and mountain views, including Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Adams, and Mt. Hood.

    Many of the jogging paths and interpretive trails follow foot paths and game trails established by original homesteaders long ago. Surfaces include sidewalks, paved campus paths, and bark/wood chip nature trails. Three short sets of steps.

    Restrooms and water available at registration and on campus (buildings are closed major holidays). Leashed pets OK with proper clean-up. Strollers must negotiate steps; not suitable for wheelchairs. WSC:  Water – Bridges; History – Monuments.
