Summit of Mt St Helens

Well despite some adverse weather conditions, members of the All Weather Walkers  summitted Mt. St. Helens.  We started out with a gorgeous sunrise, but as soon as we got up out of the tree line trail it went down hill from there.  Surprisingly, everybody wanted to forge on and we made it to the summit in just over 7 hours.  Total round trip was 12 ½ hours which made a pretty long day, but the fact was that everybody made the summit!!!!!!!  Wooooohoooooooooooooo!!  Awesome day!!  --  Liz Connors
