Ridgefield Wildlife Refuge Walk; NW08/Y0980; April 1 - September 30

10km, Rated 3

    Includes the Oaks to Wetlands nature trail in the world-renowned refuge; a replica of the historic Cathlapotle plankhouse, a Chinook Indian village visited by Lewis & Clark; and memorial grove in Abrams Park. Significant birding and water views. Mosquito repellent provided in start box during summer months. Please note: there is a $1 pedestrian use fee to enter the refuge. Various passes are accepted.

    Restrooms available at start point, Abrams Park and refuge entrance. Unsuitable for strollers or wheelchairs. Pets are not allowed in the refuge. WSC: Water – Lakes, Rivers, Bridges; History – Monuments.

Directions to Old Liberty Theater/Seasons Coffee Shop:

I-5 Exit 14, Ridgefield/Pioneer Street. Left (west) on Pioneer Street (Highway 501) three miles to Ridgefield. Main Street is at first stop sign. Right on Main 1/2 block to Old Liberty Theater/Seasons Coffee Shop. On-street parking; please use perimeter spaces. No local transit service.
