    Remote start. Register and drive 1/2 mile to begin the walk. Route is on a wooded nature path beside beautiful Lacamas Lake and Camas Meadows Golf Course, located in eastern Clark County and straddling the border between Vancouver and Camas. Enjoy quiet scenery, diverse wildlife, old-growth trees, and seasonal wildflowers. Fine gravel and wood chip surfaces.

    Restrooms and water at registration area, start/finish, and turn-around checkpoint. Strollers may have some difficulty; wheelchairs can do a shortened version. WSC: History – Places on the National Historic Register (Pittock House, aka Leadbetter Mansion, across the lake).

Round Lake/Camas Lily Fields; Y1460; January 1 - December 30

    A new walk in 2009. Walk the many paths in forested Lacamas Park, including the renowned Camas Lily fields (prime bloom in April/May). See peaceful Lacamas Creek, Round Lake, and lush waterfalls. Route is almost all in the park on dirt/gravel trail surfaces, and includes some remote areas. Some parts of the trail may be muddy during rainy periods. Poison Oak is present along a few parts of route.

    5k walkers may join the Osprey Walking Group, weekdays starting at 8am from Lacamas Park parking lot (1/2 block from start). Restrooms and water at start/finish and along route. Not suitable for strollers or wheelchairs. Important – do not park in restaurant lot. Park across the street on shoulder of NE 35th Avenue.

    From I-5 or I-205, take SR14 East, Exit #12, 6^th Avenue. Proceed to NE Adams Street and take the free RIGHT turn. Follow Adams as it curves left onto NE 3^rd Avenue. LEFT at second traffic light on NE Garfield Street (Safeway store on right). Garfield curves left into NE 14^th Avenue for two blocks. At stop sign, turn RIGHT on NE Everett Street and continue to Lakeside Chalet on left, just past main entrance of Lacamas Park. Park across Everett on shoulder of NE 35^th Avenue. No local transit service.
